Jimbaran Beach

Jimbaran Beach is one of Bali’s best-known coastal spots, loved for its golden sand, calm bay waters, and legendary seafood dinners by the sea. Sitting on the island’s southwest coast, this wide, crescent-shaped beach feels relaxed and scenic, especially in the late afternoon.

What really makes Jimbaran special is its beachfront seafood scene. As sunset approaches, local seafood warungs set up tables right on the sand, turning the shoreline into an open-air dining spot. Freshly grilled fish, prawns, and lobster are served as the sky glows orange and pink—one of the most memorable sunset experiences in Bali.

Jimbaran is also home to a traditional fishing village, with colourful jukung boats lining the shore, especially in the early mornings. Even with its popularity, the area stays calmer than nearby Kuta or Seminyak, making it perfect for families, couples, and relaxed evening dinners.

Thanks to the protected bay, the water here is usually calm and safe for swimming, which is why Jimbaran Beach is a favourite for families with children. It’s also a great base for exploring southern Bali, with Uluwatu Temple and the Bukit Peninsula just a short drive away.
