Balangan Beach

Balangan Beach is one of those places that instantly makes you slow down. Tucked away on Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, this beautiful stretch of white-gold sand is best known for its dramatic cliffside views and postcard-perfect scenery. From the viewpoint above, you’ll see endless ocean, rolling waves, and surfers carving through the water — no wonder it’s a favorite spot for photographers and pre-wedding shoots.

Down on the beach, the vibe is casual and welcoming. Local warungs line the sand, serving up fresh meals, coconuts, and cold drinks — perfect for spending a lazy afternoon by the sea. Balangan is especially loved by surfers thanks to its long, powerful left-hand wave, which draws experienced riders from all over the world.

Even if surfing isn’t your thing, Balangan could still deliver. We came here but didn't surf, we came for the peaceful atmosphere, stayed for the golden sunsets, and left feeling like we’d discovered one of South Bali’s most beautiful coastal spots. 🌅
